Beelzebub Whiskey Poem by Derek Kuborn

Beelzebub Whiskey

My blood pumps this oil that isn't mine.
The devils drinking with me tonight.

We've spent years and years
Trying to guess our lives.
I'm hungry for a carnivore
The devil said this time.
Yeah, that's what he said.

I'm sippin on whiskey till I die.
I'm changing all your sins from wrong to right.
I'm turning my back on you when you cry and cry.
We'll turn this world upside down the devil and I.

My tongue speaks these words that aren't mine.
It seems he's cut them out with his knife.

We're waiting for the end of this
hoping we'll have better lives.
We didn't know that we'd exist
for no purpose but to die and die and die.
We just die and die and die.

I'm sippin on whiskey till I die.
I'm changing all your lives from wrong to right.
I'm turning my back on you when you cry and cry.
We'll turn this world upside down until we die and die.
