My pain, always be there when night kills the day
Turn all of my fears into dreams
Then dance with my heart as I'm fading away
And everything is as it seems

I'll cry every tear and I'll feel every stab
As broken as I've always been
Cause even though I bleed I'm not all that sad
I scream darkness I haven't seen

My pain, kill me softly and spare me of life
I'll hold on to every day
I still don't know if you are something I fight
Or something I'm wanting to stay

The scars that you leave me I'm struggeling too hide
A fighter, but maybe I'm weak
Pretend that I'm hiding what I show with pride
An answer I always will seek...
