My Past
The past has left my side
Leaving me it has gone, gone
Not to return and give its helping
Hand now to face the future I am alone
My all deeds, good and bad
My past left for me as a memory
To some I take as gifts and enjoy
Some give me pain and I feel so sorry
My past walks ahead of me
Through the present guiding me
With its message I face the future
And is living through it happy and free
