My Pink Diamond Studded Shoes Poem by Dorothy (Alves) Holmes

My Pink Diamond Studded Shoes

Someone left for me,
Pink diamond studded shoes,
on the yellow brick road,
with a fresh water pearl tiara,
shimmering in the dark.
A note said 'My Lady, go
dancing under the stars tonight
and sing a glad song'...
I did, and found you!

(well it could have happened...Ha!)
