My Pledge
Day in day out i dream
of touching lifes and making a difference
If only i could find the cure for AIDS
or invent a drug that would make us all young again
better still make all evil disappear
but i am just me; a soldier, a daughter and a friend
still i must try and so i pledge
to make a difference in the little way that i can
to change the world a little at a time
so help me God
