My Previous Youth Poem by Shakira Nandini

My Previous Youth

Rating: 3.7

Everyone wants to be a lamp's moths
These are weird people. They want to be crazy
I don't know why their hearts are tired of joy
A house is now a place of mourning
Settlements where there were flowers in the windows
Now, these settlements are, deserted.
There was a series of fun parties
Relationships are now a myth
We still have the spirit of madness in our minds
But in our hearts, we have become strangers to ourselves.
