I traipsed along a sidewalk,
Amongst red, yellow and green.
It controlled my stopping,
My standing, my walking.
It controlled everything I had seen.
For the car's dictum was
Mine too.
It was in red, yellow and green,
But not blue.
I hopped along that sidewalk,
T'was love instantly,
For it let me stay,
Being a child everlastingly.
I almost tripped along,
This sidewalk!
Then I switched directions.
I lived this sidewalk in all dimensions.
This sidewalk became mine,
As I walked on it's line,
And we became friends forever.
