My Sister Poem by Alanna Flynn

My Sister

She is a beautiful soul.
Carefree and unstructured.
Her freckles rest like the speckles of paint;
That are constantly dripping from my brush.
Her demeanor is so calm, cool, and collective.
Her words, they are intentional.
Her advice is the same.
We flow together, as one.
Mixing and combining.
Never wanting to be one lonely color.
She fills my life with vibrant hues.
White smiles, blue tears, the sunshine of her face beams bright.
The waves of her hair arch softly.
Although at first, it may not seem as though her world is coming together.
All of a sudden, a beautiful picture is finished.
She is my spark in life.
But without her, my life would just be an empty canvas.
