My Sister Joan Poem by Paul Butters

My Sister Joan

Rating: 5.0

Your radiance lights the room
The instant you enter, and
Your talent shines in all you do.
You draw and paint,
And sing a nightingale's song.

I missed the singing gene myself,
But Mum and you
Are songlarks true.
A rhyme (for you) !

You have your faults
But don't we all?
Impulsive in your brightness you may be.
Intelligent, but never suffering fools.
Beware the dark side at all times
We always say.

You are a diamond above all else
And maybe I see you through rosy specs
But that blinding white light you shatter
Into a multiverse of Force-filled dreams.
You, my sister Joan.

Hope Joan has read this Paul. Excellent. Unlike my relationship with my sister, which is up and down. I'm sure she is turning into my mother. Regards. Craig.
