My Town Is Now Well Known Poem by Hebert Logerie

My Town Is Now Well Known

Rating: 4.0

I was born in a beautiful town
Everybody there is amazingly friendly
I am probably known by every body
Every soul in the teeny-weeny downtown.

The inhabitants keep the town very clean
And the mighty sea is my friendly neighbor
She roars night and day. Yet, she is only mean
When there's a storm around the harbor.

The nightlife is exotic, unique and wonderful
Despite strange rumors of bloody werewolves
Roaming the streets and dancing in the grooves.

You probably want to know more. Now, you're full
Of curiosity. One day, you'll be blessed and lucky
To pay a small visit there. I bet you'll be quite happy.

'The inhabitants keep the town very clean And the mighty sea is my friendly neighbor She roars night and day. Yet, she is only mean When there's a storm around the harbor.' - Well said! Loved the poem, loved these lines particularly.
