My Uncle James Poem by Kelvin Rush

My Uncle James

I came across a photo
At my mother's house today
My blood turned icy cold
As I remembered that fatal day

It was a photo of my family
At a birthday celebration
But that all changed when my uncle died
Then came the revelation

He'd been abusing my little sister
When she was only six
She'd kept it hidden for all these years
It made us all feel sick

It all came out when she broke down
And finally released the spell
My Uncle James with his evil games
Is now hopefully rotting in hell
