My Unheard Silence Poem by Nishi Kumari

My Unheard Silence

Rating: 5.0

Bright and beautiful my palace was adorned
Like diamonds happiness glittered in my eyes
My head under the veil so red, I walked out
with a stranger ahead
Blessed and greeted with the enormous love
My heart overflowed with the felicitous colors

Months had passed and blooming I was like a flower
I wish I had heard the knocking claws of the darker hour
The vermilion of my head was stolen by Him
Robbed all the hues and my bangles broken
All who had blessed left me lonely with the shed of white
Shattered my soul with blood in my eyes I cried in a corner

They call me cursed like a cruel blot
None has the heart to feel what I lost
Last I spoke was a decade ago
I die every day listening my own annoying silence
But whenever it rains, I drench like a maiden
Alone and wretched like a lifeless dead
