My Version Of 'No Longer Mourn For Me When I Am Dead' Poem by Gabriel Joel

My Version Of 'No Longer Mourn For Me When I Am Dead'

No longer mourn for me when I am dead
For I have lived a life of cheers
Although these thoughts you may dread
I ask of you to shed no tear
For my love will always remain here
In the memories that we have shared
If you hold to that you may not fear
The lack of my presence and care
If the memorie of me should cause you to lament
Than I ask of you to me simply forget
For even death
In sadness is not how I would want to be remembered
But instead know my love die with me, never!
