My Words Poem by Rex-mayor Ubini

My Words

They say my words
A demon's heart could melt
They flow in the stream of understanding
Eloquently, into a stony heart
And just in time it melts like ice

They say my words
beckons eyes and ears
Into a magical scenery
Where nature defines beauty
With romantic charms
Breath-taking so calm
As the trees and flowers sigh
My words soar high.

My words wear a gown of truth
Most times they hurt a youth
So bitter to taste
And wounded pride could waste
I do not have to woo
I bare my heart to you
From its abundance my words erupt
Calmly and do not corrupt.
