Mystery Girl

What is this feeling
That I have for her
I'm engrossed by her eyes
They are my sunshine
When she leaves
She is my moonlight

Her walk is elegant
Her hips are swift
Like a pendulum
Her lips, thin and sweet
Her skin smooth as silk

She is beautiful, body and soul,
Ignorance clouds a better description
What is this feeling
That I have for her
My Mystery Girl, who I don't know

Poem of the Day

poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

When the hours of Day are numbered,

Wake the better soul, that slumbered,
To a holy, calm delight;

Ere the evening lamps are lighted,
