Never A Fire, Only A Flame Poem by Zane Lewis

Never A Fire, Only A Flame

To much speed
The want
The need
Where is it
Who has it
I need the feeling
It's so fullfilling
The pride
The joy
It's almost coy
Sometimes fake
Awoken with a shake
Knew it from the start
The beat of a heart
The laugh
The smile
start at a pace not a mile
Start slow
Or watch it go
Sail on her wing
Such a queen
Praise every move
Calm and soothe
Never a fire
Only a flame
No judgment no blame
Cause no fight
Unless its your right
Caress and learn
Let it burn
Use emotion
Choose devotion
Make it last
Never to fast
Kindle that flame
Put the rest to shame
