Never Know Poem by Leigh Ladd

Never Know

Rating: 5.0

You will never know the deepest part of me,
You are too blind and never really look at what you see.
You will never know the darkest part,
You analyze too much to reach the heart.
You will never know what makes me tick,
You are shallow and let it go with a finger flick.
You will never know what makes me happy,
You deemed your own pleasure too important and snappy.
You will never know what makes me sad,
You are self-absorbed and it makes me mad.
You will never know if we are too much alike,
You have read my poems and they gave you a fright.
You will never know the real me,
You need to comprehend and then you will see.
You will never know that my poems are my release,
You need to learn that they are the reason my life does not cease.
