Oh darling never let me go
for dreams are here to be,
you know I'll love you so
and this is my melody.

The days are going one by one
with everything we know,
and soon they are all gone
for days and months have to go.

Though love we know and have still
there is just time to say goodbye,
and days with dreams to fill
before they are all gone and die.
