New Poem by Shane Durkee

New

This is a new beginning. Trying to figure out what route will work out. Taking time and think it thru. Time is love patience is not giving up.
Gonna be the best me. Loving my family. Life's tree branched, reaching for me. I held on looking for you.
Fate made a mistake. So I burned the bridge karma would probably take.
I'll make it work my angel in disguise I'm sorry for all the tears you cried.
Eyes wide shut, words spoke loud. But was more mad at myself. Whereabouts turned to dark Turnaround's.
Stranded on loves lonely journey. A path of redemption, searching for acceptance. Her kiss would take me out of this. Her hand would guide me on this. My last chance for love and happiness, if she'd have it.
I'd hold strong to who I need to become. Never misconstrue your doubts on my past feuds.
Show I've done, learned and become what I've should of all along.
