New Born Poem by Sue Stone

New Born

Rosebud lips.
A cliché?
But thus springs,
So firm from
Furrowed brow.

Yet soften,
Sweet down, to
Recognition
At this face

‘My Mummy'
The words that
Form the hope,
Security for all
Her tomorrows
