New Year Poem by Hoang Vuong

New Year

I imagine everyone wearing black and white,
while we toast champagne at the end of the night,
Saying good-bye to another year,
and welcoming in the coming New Year,

Remembering the past,
with champagne in our glass,
Commemorating the moment,
with sheer enjoyment,
Toasting to the future,
with great humor,

So raising a glass filled with cheer,
I hope everyone has a Happy New Year!
