What's in a New Year's Day, I did wonder?
Just another day in the Gregorian calendar?
Romans did consecrate, it to the great Janus
To face past-n-future, the God's two faces.
Of the days past it's a time for reflection
Of days to come, it's one of anticipation
Of the year that was past, it's delusions
Will all go, with the evening of celebrations
After toasts-n-treats at party's satisfaction
It's time to plan for the new year's action
Some list out many an important resolution
For life's problems, to find better solution
So I see on this New Year's Day today
A mild sun saying: 'chill's goin' away'
The air seemed fresher, birds were chirpier
The phones kept ringing, texting the cheer
Like on life's long highway, a milestone
That says 'friend you've just crossed one,
There's more to come, keep driving (living)
In hope, your dream's yours for achieving! '
So friends, this indeed's a day of true hope
That's common for all across the globe This day in calendar remains unchanged
In giving you and me chance for change.
There's more to come, keep driving (living) In hope, your dream's yours for achieving! ' Great message for the New Year! Enjoyed this beautifully rhyming poem!

I would like to translate this poem
Thanks Valsa. I sincerely believe, thoughh this may be an old-world view, that poems verses must rhyme at least to some extent if not fully like that of a nursery rhyme! Rhyme it need not for the sake of it. But rhyme it should if can make it.
