NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION

NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION

Our New Year's resolutions
Thought out so very long
If kept and someday soon resolved
Bring life a brand new song.

No matter what their content
No matter how great or small
So many little things in life
Resisting nature's call.

And now that resolution
Within my heart so deep
I'm going to make a vow to me
I have promises to keep!

Resolve to give to others
Resolve to change my attitude
Resolve to get down on bended knee
No resolution will elude.

So no matter what your resolution
We'll give a prayer before we sleep
For tomorrow I must remember
I have promises to keep!

poet William Wordsworth

I

I AM not One who much or oft delight
To season my fireside with personal talk.--
Of friends, who live within an easy walk,
Or neighbours, daily, weekly, in my sight:
