At night I lie in the grass,
Starring into the deathly black sky,
As dark as the blackest ink,
Yet as smooth as the softest silk,
Silently watching the Light bugs,
As they Dance their solos around me,
And they turn the night into Magic.
I count the numerous golden stars,
That shine like diamonds in the Rough,
Sparkling as if there is no Time,
As if when they come out,
Time stops,
And lets you catch your breath,
From everything that happened that day.
All the Noise and Excitement,
All the Ups and the Downs,
All the Fun and the Laughter,
All the Tears and the Joy,
And makes the whole world,
Stop moving,
Making everything freeze in place,
So later on we'll be able to Remember,
And it wont just be another day,
Left Forgotten
