Night Of The Stars Poem by Obed dela Cruz

Night Of The Stars

Stars do not simply blaze with Light that way
For theirs is a will given by Divine
To find lost mortal souls and shine as day,
To lead them to a road bound to Skyline.

Simple twinkles adorn the skies at night
And share with everyone its hopes and dreams,
Filling our hearts of Celestial Delight
Even before a thousand silver gleams.

Like million glitters spread abroad the sky
In the midst of the evening’s deep darkness,
May the oceans reflect the glories on high,
The Earth be filled of divine restfulness.

Dark is the night, the moon is perfect round,
Along the riverbanks of crystal pure
Hear the songs of angels as they make sound
With the brightest stars, for the night’s obscure.

Glow O star in the dark, shine must unfold.
Join the pool of eternal candles lit
With the Light that gives warmth against the cold,
For it is time for things to have heat.

Shine My darling; there are no holding bars,
Remember, this is the night of the stars.
