Nightingale Poem by Dennis Dade

Nightingale

Rating: 5.0

I have heard you sing all night long
With this melodious tunes in the dark
Your wings playing a role of a guitar
And your mouth you improvise for a flute

Like rain you pour down all forms of verse
For all who burden, weep and in pain
I gazed above to see how beautifully you are made
But like smoke i could no longer see nor hear your voice
