Nightmare Poem by Joseph Bernal

Nightmare

Rating: 4.5

It was as bad as world hunger
Wishing it would last no longer.
With there hands stretching out
Wanting to scream and shout.

All coming out as just air
Stopping everything just to say a prayer.
Not knowing how I got here
Feeling nothing but fear.

Hearing my voice echo
The only thing I could say is no
With the beings approaching
Everything starts unfolding.

Waking up relieved
And finally being able to breath
Glad that it was all a dream
Sitting there in the moonbeam.
