Nightmares Poem by Beth Johnson

Tossing and turning trying to sleep
getting no rest, not a peep.

Feeling restless and having dreams
of horrible things you want to scream!

You realize it was all in your head,
and stumble out of your bed.

Shaken and in a bad mood,
you go to get some food.

Feeling emotions and wondering why?
you almost want to have a good cry.

For everything you saw seemed so real
your feeling seem very surreal.

You're quenched by thirst
wash your face first.

Decide your ok everythings alright,
then decide to sleep for the night.

NO PUNCTUATION...

I woke up today in the middle of the night with bad dreams :) beth
