Nightmares Of Impending Death
Are the atrocities
Of Vladimir Putin
Like those of Idi Amin?
Hitler and the Nazis Sin?
These damned monsters
Of history
Evil incarnates
Of Satan's devils?
After all the killing
After all the sinning
Did they sleep through the night?
Did they have nightmares
Of their impending deaths?
A touching write against the backdrop of heart wrenching scenes from war torn cities of Ukraine.
They do not discern that what they commit is sin. So no fear, they sleep well, until of course, death knocks at their doors… most pertinent writing
Hitler and Amin are prime examples of your first comment. However, I'm not so certain about Putin. Because he continues to wear a cross given to him by his mother which was blessed in Jerusalem. He may have the Godfather complex.
