Nina Poem by S. D. Smallwood

Nina

Salt and pepper locks
A beautiful smile
Attractive curvy hips
Dressed up with style

Soft full lips
The kind you kiss in a dream
Head held straight
Like an African Queen

The mind of a leader
Who often plays the role
With balance and care
Leading her follower’s soul

More than enough strength
To maneuver through life
While accepting her role
As Mother, Grandmother, and Wife

World traveling citizen
Visiting many lands
Respecting every culture
While trusting in God’s hands

My love and Companion, these words I send
I love you Nina
My Wife and My Friend

Steven
