Release Poem by S. D. Smallwood

Release

Love undisturbed
Uncanny desire
Touching without hands
Emotions on fire
Accepting each moment
A prize to embrace
Away from your presence
Beholding your face
Life separating
Two hearts that bind
Pulled apart daily
But never the mind
Trapped by your words
No longer the fight
Captured by your eyes
The grip feels right
Common sense blinded
A love so strong
Releasing control
To where I belong
