No Comic Relief Poem by Ima Ryma

No Comic Relief

In the desert, a guy got lost.
For days the guy wandered around.
Some animal tracks the guy crossed.
Later a puma the guy found.
The big cat did growl at the guy.
The guy was not sure what to do.
Some comic relief might apply,
Perhaps telling a joke or two.
And so the guy did say, 'Knock, knock.'
The puma answered not, 'Who's there? '
But circled in a hungry stalk,
Then made a punch line through the air.

The guy got ate by the puma.
The cat had no sense of huma.
