No Delight Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

No Delight

No delight

I feel different
At present
About treatment meted out
And things talked about

I want to carry dreams further
And build future
But people may not allow
And keep my progress slow

They know it fully well
And we needn’t spell
That we are place for their origin
Then why this attitude is seen?

Molestation in broad day light
Cruel behavior and street fight
For domination with possession rights
These all leads to no delight

We shall remain
Still in pain
With all apprehensions in mind
Simple woman shall never find honorable place

No Delight

A very thoughtful write. We certainly have to enjoy our women-folks by being respectful to them. TFS. 4 hours ago by Leonard Dabydeen to No delight
