No Longer Opposed Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

No Longer Opposed

When all eyes and ears,
Are left open.
And mouths are closed.
Leaving jaws,
Tightly pressed together.
As if to have been glued.
Those who have had,
Comments to make...
In their recent past,
Not to hesitate to spew.
Now no longer appear to oppose,
What is clearly public.
A truth displayed everyone views.
With a doing to accept,
The difference to regret...
Between delusion to live it.
And deception to repeatedly,
Hear on a daily basis heard and get.
To once dispute they were being duped!
Refusing the possibility,
Of lies to have been told them sold.
