No Love In Your Eyes Poem by Hebert Logerie

There's no love in your eyes
I can only see virulent lies
Cruising the air like super flies
Not like the ebullient butterflies.

There's rancor in your soul
You've been acting like a bull
Who's causing havoc in the pool
Where summer swimmers cry foul.

There's pure hate in your heart
And that's tearing me apart
Please behave like you're smart
Mind you, I gave you the best part.

Make the most of what you have
I can see the pain in your eyes
It's time to be better, to strive
To be as blithesome as the butterflies.
