Gentle as a dove
meek as a lamb
created by God
entrenched in the heart of men
dwells among humanities
resides amidst ethnicities
cuts across all races
strongly binding male and female
however, the wickedness and bitterness
of men would not allow it
to germinate and be fruitful
culminating in killings, violence
and upheavals
where hath she gone to
what had happened to the
reason for her creation
men had thrown all caution to the wind
blindfolded by hatred and greed
mutilation and maiming becomes
the order of the day
what could be done
to redeem her from the throes
of the wicked humanity?
daily, humanity cries
hourly, she weeps
minute, she laments
second, she groans
all i could see
all i could advice
all i could reason
is for mankind
to retrace her steps
and embrace her groom
I mean LOVE
your fellow human is your neighbour
do him no harm
