No Matter What
you need help
when youre down.
you yelp
and frown.
i run
to your side
until done
and off your hide.
you cry
and hide.
you say good bye
and think you died.
i wipe away
all your tears.
i ask you to stay
and be near.
you run
far away.
you fall on a stone
and begin to sway
i chase
you ruggedly.
i caress
your injuries softly.
i will be there-
even if youre getting hot
from hay fever-
