No More Memory Poem by Damian Mac

No More Memory

stains on already pained coronary sytems,
once sang in giddy childs
fairground attarctions in far and
forgotten resort towns

i cant even remember if you were there,
or her,
or the other,
but it definitely occurred

a beach, a bar in someones car and the hills of long ago

cigarettes shared in cold surf, frost
in your glass, those memories i cannot chase
its just
i can't remember your face
