What can be attributed as treason?
Many more factors can be added with reasons
Generally nobody may want to be called traitor
But it is happening even for the sake of national honor

The old guards have departed with moral values
The middle aged generation has gathered dues
The new generation is gifted with quick yield
The new breed of politicians is now blamed

Yes, we witness genuine downfall
They feel no shame for giving national call
The eradication of poverty has taken back seat
There are no poor now in country to greet

The illiteracy is there where it was
The public mind is still difficult to be guessed
The use of black money and other consideration is there
The democracy still functions and is considered as fare

The country is breathing under outdated laws
Poor is suffering under the invisible yoke
Now they call parliament as temple
Where charged persons, mafias represent the people

The country has rules with loop holes
The legislation is passed with simple call
The politics of connivance is major factor
What else people can think of integrity and honor?
