Nomad Poem by June FeirCruz

Nomad

She comes from all over the world
Traveling with not much
But with her is guile and cunning
Assimilation with the locals is a must.

She ingratiates herself to you
Makes you needed and useful
Fix her problems you must
She will come back for more.

You give her bread for breakfast
You felt sad because she is all alone
Coming from the far reaches of the globe
Where Hitler hailed from a long time ago.

Despite all the compassion you show
Still it is not enough
Emotional vampire that she is
She wants to come back for more.

She thinks you will pine for her friendship
Afterall, she thinks she is superior than you are.
Gravitate towards her, she thinks you would do
It was too late for her to know, it is time for her to go.

Knowing what's behind this, I appreciate the feeling that has gone into it. Lots of expression here June, powerfully written.
