Normal Is As Normal As Poem by Wayne Falconer

Normal Is As Normal As

Have this friend who drinks rum an coke
in large glass, smokes his cigars,
listens full volume to Led Zeppelin.
Loud rock blast through whole house
and normal is as normal is.

Know this lady who dresses in leather.
Spends whole weekend leather clad.
Wants to dominate world and her man.
It gets her up, it gets her off.
And normal as is normal as.

Have this friend plays guitar at home.
All through whole weekend long.
His rooms are filled with LP albums.
Sixties, seventies record covers everywhere.
And normal is as normal is.

Know this woman whose bohemian artist.
Her mind blowing paintings hang.
the both large and small variety.
Fill up every wall ceiling and space.
And normal as is normal as.

Have old friend whose Beatle mad.
Obsessed might say could easily say.
Rooms fulla books all kinda memorabilia.
Through bedroom, sitting room, bathroom.
And normal is as normal is.

Well then well I'm asking self friends.
Just whose normal or crazy then.
Is this eccentric behaviour obsessive.
Normal mad or just plain weird.
Guess it's normal is as normal as.
