Not Chosen At All Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Not Chosen At All

Not chosen at all

So much of involvement
At present
I see nothing except your image
And feel the growing age

I feel no sadness
As shine rushes on the face
With little flicker of memory
I always render
Prayer to an almighty

It was no simple
Yet inclined to soul
Went for all out
And did not shout

I look through window
and allow
Cool breeze to enter
To remind me forever

It is not the presence
But absence too
Brings people close
As destiny is not chosen

Not Chosen At All
