Not Easy To Forget Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Not Easy To Forget

Rating: 5.0

I see the yellow leave’s fall
They have responded to autumn’s call
Little wind has done the job
The tree has been simply robbed

I was standing by
The thought forced me to try
To think about it honestly and reply
Why had it taken place?

“One has to go” inner voice opined
The life has already been defined
You are comfortably attached
So long you are not detached

Take it a case of leaves or human being
Whether person is poor or king
The place has to be made vacant
The cessation of life is instant

We all know the probability
Yet prefer to shed tears in poor quality
We cry openly in defiance
The grief is there but with variance

Yes, it is not easy to forget
But we got to come in terms soon or late
It is reality and that has been agreed
The shortcoming in life has been accepted
