Not Existent Poem by Alyssa Lynn

Not Existent

All the songs I wrote for you. All the feelings that were untrue. All the words you said to me, was like a sudden heart attack. All the talks that we had, all the almost moments I throw em away. I don’t wanna dwell in what used to be. The reality is you didn’t want to be with me. Forget forget, wash it all away. Say goodbye today….maybe one day. We only moved backwards as if we couldn’t seem to grasp the right pace. Too bad now it’s too late, too late. Forget the fear, leave it all behind just a day ago, feels like just a week ago, seems like years ago. I tried I tried so hard to let you know, I tried to tell you we were fading how do you not hear me screaming? (You never hear me screaming.) We are getting to the point where existence never existed when you decided that remaining silent was better than breaking put, and I was left forever “non existent”

The embodiment of letting go put into words. Screaming louder and not being heard only begets sorrow. It's best to always look elsewhere for acknowledgement when you feel you can't get closer. Very well written,8.5 :)
