Not Many Happy Poems
There are not
Many happy poems,
I wonder why?
Is it perhaps,
Because
Unhappiness and tears
Are the Poet's
Written sighs?
Even unhappy poets can sometimes write 'happy poems' by dint of their imaginative power. But the time we are passing now is different from all other time in our lifetime. Time has a telling effect on the poets' prowess. We are passing through bad time and the days ahead can only be worse, for at least a year or two. However, let's hope for the best and wait for some happy verses to come.
