Not My Type Of Party Poem by vincent keels II

Not My Type Of Party

Please let me get this last chance
Because the music playing is our love song
Let us have this last dance
Nothing would happen
Nothing will go wrong
And if I lose you in the crowd
I hope my love will find a way
But my love wore a mask
And drifted away
The masquerade

I was close almost there
But someone else grabbed her
Out of nowhere
My body went cold
I could only stop and stare..
Someone in the distance
Same type of mask
Same type of style as me
Was talking to my love
Isn't she fooled?
Why does she not see the trickery?
Please wait..thats not the right person
If You could only see
If you just take my hand
For one chance to just dance
You will see that's not me

But it's too late and too far
You can see the devil in his eyes
But was masked by the charm
But I saw cleary through his disguise.
He knew that she was mine
He took advantage of the time..her mind
She would have been right back for a dance
But the devil took my place
in my disguise

How the hell did jafar
Take jasmine from aladdin
By tricking her into believing
Aladdin was a has been..
Hopefully soon
Under a different type shade
She'll see the truth under the mask
And fix the mistake that was made

With all the confusion
In this illusion
Only one thing stays the same
The love that still lingers
For one last dance
I Now stand alone
At this masquerade
