Forsaken by the days sunlight.
Who knew the rays would be so bright.
What if I don't want to surrender.
Not when I have so much fight left.
You keep telling my efforts are futile.
But it's my mistake to make.
My time to waste.
Dumping my guitar into the ocean.
Forgetting all my past devotion.
Here's a toast both the sinners and saints.
Watch as I swallow it down.
And now another bottle is empty.
Guess I better grab another.
Letting go.
Nothing left to hold on too.
The rope already fell down.
So long ago.
Dancing to the strings of a mere shadow.
But my reasons are never so simple.
Too clever for my own good.
Still hearing those word I wish you would.
A dare won't tempt me.
No matter how demeaning in which t is made.
I march too my own parade.
I'm only the clown I want to be.
Like the make up and get up?
I designed it just for you.
Oh for you.
Being polite as I tell you off.
Why I do not even know.
Because I'm certainly not gonna hurt your feelings.
Even if you act as if does.
Putting on a good show, never know who might be watching.
But I already know.
Actions between lines do well to describe.
What you won't say.
No mysteries, no illusions, no playing dress up and make believe.
Straight to the point.
A knifes razor edge.
Not willing to test the limits.
I can take a hint.
You can't cover it up with mint.
Even if it comes straight from you lips.
Heads and tails are really the same thing.
And the lioness has eaten another king.
Crown and all.
But guess what I'm not that desperate.
Not for the company or companionship.
Lustfully willfully attempting to get me in your bed.
But no matter the offer, I see what you have done to so many others including a couple of my friend.
Just another name to add to your mounting trophies of lives ruined.
