Not selfish
Wednesday,6th March 2019

If I am sincere enough
I shall not laugh
at your proposal
being a good individual

yes, I had ifs and buts
but that can be cut
short of an expectations
in the relation

I am no good
and may not understand
the complexity
but I have certainly an integrity

I am no selfish
but can finish
the day with promises
and make no misses

I may not be reliable
but a promising young individual
to side with you in the struggle
and mingle

It is no gamble
but efforts so stable
that we bind each other
with loyalty and offer
