Nothing For The Day....(Revised)
i watch the day
pass by
it saddens me
that it carries
nothing for you
and me....
no letter,
no flower,
not even
something
to remember....
we wait here
naked
our hearts exposed
with all honesty
and we secretly
wish for something
greater than love
higher than faith
and not having
obtained all these
we embraced this
somber reality of
our own
stupidity....
