Nothing Is Done - Poem by Shalom Freedman

NOTHING IS DONE

Nothing is done
No poem is written
No work is done
No joy is given
All is fear
Nothing gives hope
All seems lost
I am still nowhere
After all the years
Nothing is done
I am not anything
I never will be anything.

I write these lines to prove
Nothing I have written above
Is true.
